Ponderings of a Writer: by Immortal Storm Author, Heather Bserani

This week I have made a bigger effort to continue my writing.  Having found several contests coming up, I decided to write a short so that I can enter.  I set about writing a short story of less than 3000 words and in about three days came up with a wonderful rough draft.  I got some critique from the amazing writers website that I belong to (authorsink.webs.com) and now I am in final revisions.  Hopefully this short will go out on Thursday to beat the nearest contest deadline.  That is not to say I have forgotten about Immortal Storm - it is also out for revision, but I am getting ever closer.  I have accepted the fact that it will take longer than originally planned, but this novel will be published in the next few months!  Having said all of that, I am heading back to my desk to get some more writing accomplished.
